E-Reader Feeder

According to several reports, e-books will outsell books made from paper in China during 2010. Unlike European and American markets which price physical books and e-books at roughly the same price, in China e-books cost about one quarter the cost of paper bound books. Hard cover books are considered somewhat of an luxury item and e-books will make reading more affordable to the average Chinese. With a premium on literacy and education as a high priority among upward mobile families, the real growth e-Reader market in 2010 will be Asia rather than the rest of the world.

Building on the success of EB-S601, Gajah, out of Singapore is planning to launch no less than 10 new models for year 2010, with various screen sizes and specifications. Gajah's signature device looks set to be the colored
eBook reader and eMagazine but it is still a prototype in it's research lab. The EB-S601 has the same look, specs and feel as Lenovo's iBook so it is to be expected that most of Gajah's models will be imitations (or very similar to) other e-Readers in China.
